Claiming an event you organize

Run a festival or event that lives on Festurah? You can claim it. Claiming ties the event to your signed-in account so you can keep its details accurate and up to date.

You need an account to claim an event. Sign-in is through Google, so there is no password to create or remember.

How to claim

Open the event you organize and request ownership. What happens next depends on your email.

• If your verified email domain matches the domain of the event's website, your claim auto-approves. For example, a verified email at yourfestival.com clears right away against a website at yourfestival.com.
• If the domains do not match, your request waits for review. The current owner or a Festurah admin takes a look and approves or declines it.

Matching domains is the fast path, so it helps to sign in with an email at the same domain as the event's official site.

What owning an event lets you do

Once you own an event, you can manage its details. That includes the name, description, website link, start and end dates, location, category, whether camping is allowed, and whether it recurs. You can also keep its microevents (set times and sub-events, like a specific act's slot) current.

Keeping this information fresh helps travelers, nomads, and road-trippers find you and plan around your dates.

What claiming does not do

Owning an event on Festurah lets you manage the listing here. That is all. It grants no real-world rights to the festival itself, no legal ownership, and no control over the actual event.
