Using the map and your schedule

Festurah gives you two ways to look at the same events: a map view that shows where things are, and a schedule view that shows when things happen. You will probably switch between them as you plan, and that is exactly the idea.

The map view

The map view shows events geographically, placed at their real locations. It is the best way to answer "what is near me?" or "what is along my route?"

Use the map when:

• You are parked somewhere and want to see what is happening nearby.
• You are plotting a road trip and want events that line up with the direction you are already heading.
• Location matters more than timing, for example when you are deciding where to point the van next.

Because each event carries an address, venue, and coordinates, the map can drop it in the right spot. You might even notice a handful of festivals bunched into one region and one week, which could be worth a small detour.

The schedule view

The schedule view lines events up by time, using their start and end dates. It is the best way to answer "what is happening, and when?"

Use the schedule when:

• You have dates locked in and want to see what falls inside them.
• You are comparing several multi-day events to avoid overlaps.
• You want to build out a trip week by week rather than pin by pin.

Using both together

Most planning is a back and forth. Start on the map to find festivals near a place or route, then flip to the schedule to check that the timing works for your travel window. When something looks good, sign in to favorite it, save it, or add it to your personal schedule so it is ready when you hit the road.
