Festurah is built to help you find good festivals, not to follow you around the internet. Here is the plain version of how your data works.

How your location is used

When you look for events near you, Festurah uses your location for one thing only: showing festivals and events that are close by, whether you are browsing the map view or the schedule view.

• Your location is used in the moment, to find nearby events.
• Festurah does not store a location history.
• Festurah does not track you across other websites or apps.

What Festurah collects

The goal is to collect the minimum. You can browse events without an account at all, so most of the app works without you handing over anything personal.

If you do sign in, that happens through Google Sign-In, a third party. Festurah never creates or stores a password. A signed-in account stores a small amount of information:

• Your email address
• Your display name
• Your profile-picture URL
• The collections you save (favorites, saved events, your personal schedule, camping profiles, and events you create)

That is what powers your personal lists. It is not sold as a profile of you.

Ads keep it free

Festurah is free to use and stays that way through ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are how the app pays for itself instead of charging you.
